s-heat - the product range for insulating materials
Coated textiles from the s-heat series are mostly used for thermal insulation.
These products are normally used as the outer shell of the insulating layer in machine covers, protective jackets for welding robots, and exhaust pipe insulation.
As some systems are designed for extreme temperatures of up to 300°C, they are ideal for insulation cushions and mattresses for thermal insulation of pipes and valve systems.
- Insulation for gas turbines and power plants
- Pipe insulation
- Boiler insulation
- Insulation for ships' engines
- Insulation for engine compartments
- Fire safety curtains
- Smoke curtains
- Cable protection
Carrier materials and coating
The most common solution, for both technical and cost reasons, involves temperature-resistant carrier materials on glass fabric.
The materials are then coated with silicone or polyurethane.
Materials designed for temperatures of up to 300°C are supplied in a standard or flame-retardant version.
IMO SOLAS certificates are held for various materials. BS and DIN standards are also available for construction materials applications.
